1. Save the DrTCP.exe file attached in the email to your hard drive. (You can save it to My Documents or anywhere you wish as long as you remember where you saved it.) 2. Once saved, go to the DrTCP.exe file and double click on it. 3. When it opens you will see a few fields that can have text placed into them but we will only need to change the settings in a couple of them. 4. First make sure where it has "Adapter Settings" that you have "Dialup Adapter" selected, this can be changed by using the downward pointing triangle to the right of the field. Click on it and then select "Dialup Adapter" from the list since it will also have any Ethernet adapters listed. 5. Next where it had "MTU" type the number 1006 into the field to the right of "MTU" 6. The rest of the settings can be left as is or blank and it will retain whatever the settings are currently. 7. Click on the save button at the bottom and then you can exit the program. 8. You must restart your computer for the settings to take effect!
